Let's heal together

Have you always wanted to try CBD but had absolutely no idea where to start or what it even is? Let us be the first to tell you that it’s a good thing you chose to start by reading this because you’ve come to the right place. We’re here to inform and educate you about all things CBD! So, let’s jump right in and get started.

CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is a natural substance found in hemp plants. CBD can hold many potential therapeutic and medicinal benefits all while being non-psychoactive. However, in order to achieve these potential benefits, products needed to be made. Luckily, they were made, and in many forms! Products containing CBD can come as sublingual oils, creams and salves, vape pens, gummies and candies, syrups, beverages and much more!

Important: If you have a medical condition or take pharmaceutical drugs, please consult with your physician before using CBD products.

Now at this point you’re probably thinking “But isn’t CBD the thing that gets you high?”

The answer to the following question is simply, no.

Not all CBD products are created equal. You see, there are different types of CBD.

Types of CBD

  • full spectrum CBD – whole plant is used including all cannabinoids as well as less than 0.3% THC (the “thing” that gets you high)
  • broad spectrum CBD – whole plant is used but the THC is removed
  • isolate CBD – all the cannabinoids are removed, leaving only CBD (hence the name, isolate)

Our hemp derived CBD is made from using broad spectrum CBD. As mentioned, we take the necessary steps to remove the THC from the rest of the extract, all while still keeping the potential medicinal and therapeutic benefits CBD has to offer without the psychoactive effect. In addition, our products are organically-grown, extracted via high quality carbon dioxide, lab tested for impurities, and made in the USA. Woo!

Some potential therapeutic and medicinal benefits CBD can hold are reducing stress, inflammation, pain, anxiety, aiding with sleep and many others. Most importantly, CBD can potentially allow the body to return back to homeostasis. To receive these potential benefits, we’ve formulated products to either be applied topically or be administered orally.

For individuals who prefer to administer their CBD orally, we have formulated products such as CBD sublingual oils in various strengths of 250mg, 500mg and 1500mg and zen pens that come in one strength of 2.5mg per puff. Now, allow for us to go more into depth with each one.

Sublingual oils activate when placed under the tongue for about 1-2 minutes. After those 1-2 minutes, your sublingual glands will absorb the CBD from under your tongue and transfer it into your bloodstream. Once the bloodstream receives the CBD, it is then transmitted throughout the whole body giving you the full potential benefits CBD has to offer. Zen pens activate when you inhale the pen for about 6 seconds, hold, and then release the vapor.

Essentially, the oral method of administering CBD via sublingual oil or zen pen is considered more of an “instant” method rather than orally ingesting the CBD in the form of, let’s say, a gummy. The reason being is because it bypasses the digestive system. Instead, we would consider ingesting a CBD gummy to be more of an “extended release” rather than instant because it would have to get absorbed by the digestive system first in order to receive the potential benefits of CBD. However, some individuals take the sublingual oil to potentially fall asleep quicker and take the gummy at the same time so that they are able to potentially stay asleep throughout the night. So, it really just depends on what you’re trying to achieve with CBD and for how long.

Nevertheless, if orally administering your CBD is not your thing and you prefer to apply CBD topically, we have formulated products such as CBD pain creams and salves in various strengths of 250mg, 500mg and 1000mg and bath bombs with the strength of 60mg. Our pain creams and salves are specifically formulated to concentrate on the area of the body that needs a little more tlc (tender love and care) when dealing with pain and/or inflammation. However, the difference between our pain cream and emu oil salve is that our pain cream is formulated to be applied to areas that are more skin to bone, for example, areas such as knuckles, elbows, knees, etc. Whereas our emu oil salve is formulated to be applied to areas that have more tissue and muscle such as thighs, lower and upper back, etc, because the emu oil can help push the CBD into deeper layers of the skin. The consistency and texture of both products vary but both products can still give you the potential benefits of CBD because they come in the same mg of strengths.

As for our bath bombs, they come in five lovely scents of lavender, green tea, eucalyptus, petals, and deep space (charcoal). The purpose of these bath bombs are to give your body a potential full body relief. Some say it’s almost like applying the cream or salve all over your body (LOL).
